Product Inspection & Factory Audits

For those clients that need additional product inspection and factory auditing beyond PassageMaker’s core services, our partner Asia Quality Focus (AQF) can be of support.

Asia Quality Focus (AQF) is a Western-owned and operated company based in China. AQF provides QC inspections, factory audits and helps buyers determine the relevant certifications needed for their various products. The AQF team is composed of Chinese and Western quality experts, combining local cultural roots and Western background & business practices. Moreover, their expertise covers a wide range of products and they are able to help and support clients from various industries.

AQF was selected as a PassageMaker partner because they share our commitment to protection of Intellectual Property in China and demonstrate a clear value in the China supply chains of our clients.

AQF focuses on conducting product inspection at the sub supplier’s location. While the majority of PassageMaker clients have their goods delivered to PassageMaker for assembly and 100% inspectionbefore shipping out of China, in the following cases it may be cost effect to retain the services of our partner AQF and perform product inspection at the sub supplier rather than have the inspection done at PassageMaker’s assembly / inspection center:

• Intellectual Property is not an issue
• Goods need to ship direct from sub supplier
• A random inspection rather than 100% inspection is sufficient to evaluate quality

AQF is also our preferred partner for the following tasks which can be added on “a la carte” to compliment PassageMaker’s core Services:

• Specialized Sub-Supplier Auditing which need to be conducted by an accredited auditor (for example ISO compliance, workplace safety and environmental standards)
• Defining and updating product standards, regulations and test methods which are unique to each client and destination marketplace such as .RohS / Cadminium /Color fastness / EN71, CE certification/ Azo free / Care labeling / WEE / Phthalates / EN55013:2001+A1:2003 / EN60598 / EMC and so on
