Internship/ Trainee for Account Manager Position

Position Overview

This internship was designed to give individuals with basic China-based experience (such as English teaching or general trading) an opportunity to gain significant business experience and have a fast track into a formal position with PassageMaker.

Training will be provided, but we are looking for a motivated and detail oriented managers to handle communications with our clients in N. America, Australia/NZ and EU.  Under the supervision of Sr. Managers, this Jr. Account manager position will review work of project managers and update clients about the status of our sourcing services (suppler identification, vendor management and general assembly/inspection) on a weekly basis.    Internships generally are full time and last 1 year. During the course of the year the individual moves from Intern to Jr. Account Manager Trainee and eventually Account Manager.

In addition to receiving training in valuable job skills, a small stipend is available to cover expenses such as room and board during the first year.

Requirements for this position
1) Excellent English skills. Chinese language skills a big advantage but not essential

3) Previous experience in sourcing or general project management a big plus

4) Candidate currently enjoys living in China and has no plans to leave for immediate future

Ideal candidate is a native speaker of English aged 21 to 26. An engineering degree and/or experience in sourcing/ international trade/general project management/ account representation is preferred but not required.
