Fees vary according to QC,
assembly and space requirements but are calculated as follows:
I. Warehousing Labor &
Space:
Set fee per cubic meter (cbm),
applied at three phases:
- In-coming (unload and organize)
- Weekly Space
- Out-going (containerization)
This standard method of
calculation allows for scalable cbm-based billing and can take
into account multiple or constantly changing deliverables.
II. Assembly and/or
Internal QC
Billed on a "per unit inspected/
assembled" basis taking into account the volume of product and
labor requirements for Assembly and/or QC to be conducted under
our roof.
III. Raw Material Costs
(Component Pricing)
Components may be arranged by the
customer and delivered to our assembly center for processing. If
the customer does not have an existing China supply chain in
place then PassageMaker can assist in finding qualified
sub-suppliers. The sub-supplier pricing will be quoted at cost
from the factory- no markups or hidden charges. Pls. view the
"Supplier
Identification & Analysis" section of our website for
details on services and fees should you need assistance in
locating suitable vendors.
IV. External QC and/or
Vendor Coordination and/or Shipping Coordination
Due to distance, language, time
and cultural barriers the client may desire that PassageMaker's
China based, Bi-lingual Project Managers serve as a liaison
between the client and sub-suppliers to ensure that customer
requirements for price, quality and lead-time are realized. This
entails coordinating production schedules with the sub-suppliers
and arranging outbound shipping to ensure a smooth supply chain.
Project Managers and Quality
Assurance Engineers are also available to conduct sub-supplier
audits across China as required by the customer.
Pls. view the
"Vendor
Coordination & Quality Control" section of our website for
details on services and fees should you need assistance.
V. Shipping and/or Duties
Shipping and US customs are
either paid directly by the client or PassageMaker can arrange
door to door delivery which is billed at cost, in an open
fashion. For example, the Project Manager would work with the
client to book the best rates and shortest lead times on freight
by checking with 4 or 5 agents at each shipping date.

In summary, the above system
offers the benefits of going factory direct without the hassle
of setting up your own China infrastructure for Vendor Mgmt, QC
and Assembly. The direct savings that our customers enjoy when
their supply chains run smoothly under our management far
outweigh the costs to retain PassageMaker.
