Fees vary according to quality
assurance, assembly and space requirements but are calculated as
follows:
I. Costs of Raw Materials,
Components, Packaging Materials (inputs to be assembled and
inspected)
Components may be arranged by the customer and delivered to our
assembly center for processing. If the customer does not have an
existing China supply chain in place then PassageMaker can
assist in finding qualified sub-suppliers. The sub-supplier
pricing will be quoted at cost from the sub-supplier- no markups
or hidden charges. Please view the link

locating suitable sub suppliers.
Due to distance, language, time and cultural barriers the client
may desire that PassageMaker's China based, Bi-lingual Project
Managers serve as a liaison between the client and sub-suppliers
to ensure that customer requirements for price, quality and
lead-time are realized. This entails coordinating production
schedules with the sub-suppliers and arranging inbound shipping
to ensure a smooth supply chain.
II. Assembly and Inspection
We charge a transparent per unit fee to perform inspection/assembly/vendor coordination services. This fee is based on the actual labor and management to inspect and assemble your given product. At PassageMaker there are no hidden mark ups. Any sub-suppliers used are pre-approved by the client in advance.
III. Warehousing Labor & Space:
Set fee per cubic meter (cbm), applied at three phases:
- In-coming (unload and organize)
- Weekly Space
- Out-going (containerization)
This standard method of calculation allows for scalable
cbm-based billing and can take into account multiple or
constantly changing deliverables.
IV. Shipping and/or Duties
Shipping, Duties and Insurance are either paid directly by the client or PassageMaker can arrange door to door delivery which is billed at cost, in an open fashion. For example, our Logistics Manager would work with the client to book the best rates and shortest lead times on freight by checking with 4 or 5 agents at each shipping date. This logistics service is provided free of charge
